Checked on 27 October 2026 from the US App Store listing (4.2 from 15 ratings, last updated 7 July 2025, version 1.3) and the UK listing (3.7 from 3 ratings; in-app £14.99 speech, £19.99 bundle). What reviewers say
There are few reviews, so this is a thin sample, not a verdict:
- Edits. "You only get 3 edits for $15" (US App Store review).
- Paying again. "I need to pay each time I want to use it" (UK App Store review, 7 January 2025, titled "Overpriced").
- Length. A reviewer who asked for 2 to 3 minutes got a much shorter response.
The version notes describe unlimited revisions, so the listing and the reviews do not agree. Ask the app before you pay, or check Apple's purchase details.
Where WedSpeak is better
- Price. $14.99 is about half of our $29.99.
- Practice features. The version notes list a practice mode with a teleprompter-style view, text-to-speech and a copy button. We have no app; our free wedding speech timer and cue cards cover timing and prompts in the browser.
- Vows. It sells wedding vows as well as speeches, in a bundle.
- Native app. If you want everything on your iPhone, it is one.
What to check before you pay for either
- Edits. Ask what a purchase includes: unlimited edits, a fixed number, or a fresh payment each time. Ours is up to 20 regenerations of one speech, and your own edits cost nothing.
- Length. Say how long the toast must be in minutes. Ours takes a spoken duration, and its shortest option is 3 to 5 minutes, so a two-minute toast needs trimming.
- Refunds. Read the terms, not the badge. Ours: email within 7 days of purchase for a full refund.
- Your stories. No app can supply them. The weaker the details you give it, the more generic the speech will be.

- Pick WedSpeak if you have an iPhone, want the lowest price, and want a practice mode in the same app.
